Against Me! Confirms New Drummer

According to Atom Willard's (Angels and Airwaves, Social Distortion) Twitter, he has officially joined Against Me! as their new drummer. The guys will be touring to finish out the summer so make sure to catch them when they swing by a venue near you.

More Mayday Parade News! New Album!

Mayday Parade is full of news today. After announcing that they will be headlining the Glamour Kills tour. They also will be releasing a new album called "Monsters in the Closet".  The album will be released on October 8th and we will be looking out for any more information coming in.

Frank Turner Gets Hardcore

 

We all know and love Frank Turner for his lo-fi acoustic jams. With that being said, you may not know that Frank Turner fronts a hardcore band called Mongol Horde. Tyler The Creator "Racist" Mt. Dew Videos.

As you may or may not know, a while ago Tyler the Creator released a series of three Mt. Dew commercials online. The commercials were later withdrawn from Youtube and has been decried as "a perpetuation of racial stereotypes and promotes violence against women". Story of the Year Headlining "Scream It Like You Mean It" tour!

Story of the year will reportedly be headlining the "Scream It Like You Mean It" tour, as part of the ten year anniversary tour for "Page Avenue". The support for the tour has not been announced yet but they have hinted that it will be three bands currently on this years "Warped Tour". One of which currently playing main stage. The tour starts October 8th, in Cincinnati. Full tour dates will be announced August 5th. ATS will get you more information on the tour as soon as possible.

New "Kevin Devine" Song entitled "Private First Class"

Kevin Devine is at it again. Earlier this year he put up a Kickstarter, Raised a killing, and vowed to put out two albums this year. This is one of the first releases of many we have to look forward to. The song is produced by Jesse Lacey of "Brand New" and is for sure one of Devine's best releases to date. "Emarosa" Names Bradley Walden as New Frontman.

ATS would like to congratulate Bradley Walden (ex- Squid the Whale)  On being named the new front man for Emarosa. PropertyofZack reported the news just a little while ago. ATS will be on top of this developing story and let you know when the band plans on touring and recording again.

Avenged Sevenfold announce tour dates for upcoming tour.

Here at ATS we have learned that, in support of their upcoming album "Hail to the King", which you can pre-order here. Yellowcard "Ocean Avenue" Acoustic music video.

Yellowcard has recently released their official music video for the re-release of the album "Ocean Avenue." The acoustic version of the album, will be released August 13th, 2013 via Hopeless Records. The band spoke out, after a poor response to the new video, saying that they didn't want to pour the money into an expensive video. As of this morning we at ATS thought we had a new Brand New song for you. Unfortunately We have just been told that it is in fact just a B-side that had not yet surfaced. We have been told the song is called  "Out of Range" we are unable to say at this time where or exactly when this was recorded, However several people have reported to have had this as early as 2010. Take a listen and let us know your thoughts. We will keep you updated on any other news regarding the Band, the new album or this song.

"Of Mice & Men" Back in the studio!

"Of Mice & Men" have revealed, that they will be entering the studio to begin recording their third studio album. Fans of the band have been anticpating this album for quite awhile now. It is set to release early 2014 through Rise Records. We at ATS know thats a long wait, so we will keep you up to date on any information about the album that comes in.

Anthony Green on new Balance and Composure album!

Anthony Green (Circa Survive vocalist) has revealed that he will be making a special guest appearance on the new "Balance and Composure" album entitled "The Things We Think We're Missing".  It is set to release September 10th via No Sleep Records, We will get you guys a track listing and review as soon as possible. Brian marquis "alive and relatively ok" after warped tour lightning strike!

Brian Marquis, who we previously reported had been struck by lightning at West Palm Beach Florida warped tour, Has recently posted a blog stating that he is alive and for the most part ok, along with the picture posted above. You can also read his full statement below.

From what we know here at ATS, October will be a good month for pop punk.  New Found Glory have announced a new live album entitled "Kill it Live", which is due to be released October 8th. They have just released there third teaser on the album. See all three teasers as well as the set list below. 

West Palm Beach devastates Warped Tour

ATS has been receiving crazy reports from the West palm Beach stop of warped tour. The Picture above is from our close friend who is on site. The Cruzan Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida is flooded. Bands have had to cancel sets, face power outages, and there have even been injuries on site. Brian Maruis was electrocuted and taken off site in an ambulance. Everyone is pulling together and really showing what a family Warped tour is. The Early November played with the power off. Bands are rescheduling sets and beginning to play now that the weather is clearing and the classiest move of the day Warped tour is Giving Free admittance to tomorrow's date to everyone with a ticket from today. The monster energy stage was rumored to have been closed, but that has been cleared up.

Paramore to Headline Madison Square Garden Nov. 13th

According to the bands twitter "Paramore" will be headlining Madison Square Garden. This is one of the biggest accomplishments for a band in North America. We at ATS thinks no one could deserve it more. We would like to congratulate "Paramore" on this epic stage in their careers. Marvel Confirms "Avengers" sequel in 2015

Mayday Parade Tweet about Big Announcement.

ATS favorite and Florida rockers Mayday Parade have been on the scene since 2006. They have put out 3 studio albums and an EP since then and are still going at it. Today the band tweeted about a "big announcement" coming Monday. We know they will be releasing a new album this fall, so chances are it will have something to do with that, but we will keep you up to date as info comes in.

Jay Z is at it again. He will be releasing his new Music Video for the track "Picasso Baby" on Friday August 2nd at 11pm EST. It wont be premiered on the internet though, Jay Z has teamed up with HBO to release his video as a performance art film special. Watch the trailer for the special above and tune into HBO Friday to watch the new video. Fall Out Boy to release "Live in Tokyo" CD/DVD combo.

Since Fall Out boy came back on the scene with "To Save Rock and Roll" they have not stopped. They have been constantly touring, recording, and making up for the "Hiatus Years". Now they are right back at it again releasing a live CD/DVD combo of their performance in Tokyo, Japan. ATS will keep you up to date as details come in. Letlive's best album yet.

If you have not heard of the post-hardcore band letlive you are truly missing out. The band consists of Jason Butler (Vocals), Who is one of the most energetic front men hardcore music has ever seen. Jean Nascimento and Jeff Sahyoun (Guitar), Ryan Jay Johnson (Bass), and Loniel Robinson (Drums).
